In general, what we believe with all our hearts is easiest to say with the well-known apostolic creed:

"I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, crucified, died and was buried, descended into the kingdom of death, rose from the dead the third day, ascended into heaven.

He sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian church, communion of saints, forgiveness of sins, resurrection of the dead and life everlasting.

Amen."
